My name is Mel and I’m the group order (GO) manager for all the goodies listed on this site! A few quick notes about me:
I’m a Chinese-Canadian fan based in Toronto who loves to collect merch and want to help other fans do the same!
I started this GO in 2020 and have since shipped 10,000+ packages to fellow fans across the world!
I have plenty of experience working with sellers in China and dealing with international shipping
I run this GO in my spare time, sometimes with help from family members, but this is mostly a one-woman operation (passion project)
Before you place any orders, please take a moment to consider if this GO is right for you! Please only join if you’re okay with:
Waiting a few months for your items
Committing to your order and making your second payment in a timely fashion
Allowing me to manage all communications with sellers and all international and domestic shipping processes
Checking resources on your own for general updates about the group order and checking your e-mails for updates specific to your own order
Please note! Since this is a group order service and not an individual order service, I can’t provide refunds or exchanges once you’ve placed your order. However, if there’s a major issue with your order, I’m happy to work with you 1-on-1 to figure out a solution that’s to your satisfaction.

Types of Orders
Pre-orders - Items that still need to be produced and shipped out from China
In stock orders - Items that are currently at my Canada address and are ready to be shipped to you
Pre-order items and in stock items will be shipped to you separately, even if you checkout both types in a single order.
First and Second Payments
For both pre-orders and in stock orders, there are 2 payments that you'll need to make.
First payment - This is the amount that you pay when you checkout on the order site. It covers only the cost of the item and does not include any shipping
Second payment - This is a customized amount that covers the cost of international and domestic shipping attached to the specific items you ordered (based on their weight). You'll be notified of this amount once your order is ready to be shipped to you from my address
Since shipping costs are difficult to predict and depend on a variety of factors, I suggest setting aside an amount equal to your first payment for the second payment. However, it’s still possible that your second payment may be higher than the first payment, especially for heavy items like books or large items like cushions/plushies.
Payments can be made via credit/debit card, PayPal or E-Transfer (Canadian bank accounts only).
Pre-order Process
Sample timeline
January - You submit your order and make the first payment February - I submit all joiners’ orders to the seller
May - The seller finishes producing the item and ships it to my China address
June - Items ship out from China
July - Items arrives at my Canada address. I sort and pack your orders and notify you of your second payment amount.
August - Once you've paid, your items should arrive in 1-2 weeks (North America) or 3-6 weeks (worldwide)
The timeline may be longer or shorter depending on the production time of the item you ordered.
Status
The status of each individual item you order can be tracked using the first 7 characters of the SKU of the item (e.g. MD2501A). You can check the status of all your items on the Status page: https://www.shandiango.ca/status
Consolidation
Although I’ll try my best to combine your items and ship them to you together, please understand that the different sellers have different production timelines. This means that you may end up receiving multiple packages for one order.
Example: You order 1 figurine (item with long production time), 3 keychains (small item) and 2 standees (standard item).
Let’s say your keychains are shipped by the seller first. Since they’re considered small items, I’ll automatically hold onto them and wait until the next item that arrives and pack them together. So if the standees arrive next, your 3 keychains and 2 standees will be packed together and sent to you. And once your figurine arrives later, you’ll receive a second package for just the figurine.
In Stock Order Process
In stock orders will be packed on weekends and you’ll receive your second payment notice by Sunday evening. Once you've paid, your items should arrive in 1-2 weeks (North America) or 3-6 weeks (worldwide).
Shipping Methods
For every package sent to you from my Canada address, I will use the least expensive courier service available for your address.
Canada - UPS, Canada Post, or UniUni
USA - UPS or USPS
Worldwide - Post NL, APC or Canada Post
If you’re worried about your package being lost or damaged, you can always ask me for a quote to add insurance to your package.
Rewards
Freebies - Every package will include a small thank you gift depending on the size of your package (card/postcard for small packages, shikishi boards/charms/badges for large packages). Availability is subject to whatever fandom freebies I have on hand while packing.
Mailing list - At checkout, you can opt in to e-mail notifications for pre-order and in stock sales. Subscribers will sometimes be provided with discount codes if there’s a special sale happening.
Loyalty program - If your cumulative spending for the first payment is above $350 in a calendar year, you'll be able to access VIP perks such as packing priority, special discounts and more! Details will be provided to joiners via e-mail once they've reached the threshold.
